Fundraising & strategy expertise for mission-driven organizations

About Alexandra

Alexandra Strzempko is a seasoned nonprofit professional with over 12 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and development strategy. She has successfully led five and six figure fundraising initiatives, secured and retained high-value institutional funding, and built strategic growth models that help mission-driven organizations thrive.

She is a nonprofit fundraising consultant helping organizations build and grow their institutional funding. Her work spans grant writing, funder landscape analysis, prospect research, and fundraising strategy. She strives to leave clients with the tools and capacity to sustain their funding relationships long after the engagement ends.

Her career in social impact began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Albania, where she worked with a local NGO advocating for women’s legal rights. Since then, she has held development and leadership roles at international nonprofits, including Concern Worldwide, CDP, and Village Enterprise, where she spearheaded institutional fundraising efforts, developed impact-driven strategies, and worked closely with senior leadership to drive long-term sustainability.

Her consulting practice is rooted in this decade-long background working in-house for international organizations across regions, time zones, and cultural contexts. This experience has shaped how I think about funding strategy, relationships, and organizational needs and capacity. Today, her consulting work is intentionally focused closer to home, partnering primarily with domestic organizations.

Passionate about equipping nonprofits with the resources they need to expand their influence, Alex partners with organizations at every stage of growth to design customized solutions that drive long-term success.
